ISFTA Endorsed Facilities
We have frequently been asked by facilities how they can become an ISFTA approved facility.
An ISFTA sanctioned facility is one that meets the following criteria:
1. At least 25% of the personal training staff in the facility is ISFTA certified.
2. Facility carries full liability insurance.
3. Facility must have a physical commercial location. (ie: not a home gym)
4. Facility must have the equipment to accomodate the following:
a. Cardiovascular training
b. Strength Training
c. Flexibility Training
d. Fitness Assessments
e. Office or other area for private consultations/fitness assessments.
5. No active or unresolved complaints with BBB, Chamber of Commerce, or any legal entity.
6. Facility has completely filled out the ISFTA Sanctioned Facility Application Form.
Benefits of being an ISFTA sanctioned facility:
1. Endorsement by one of the leaders in the industry.
2. Placement on the ISFTA website as well as other marketing opportunities.
3. Updates on the industry as soon as they happen.
4. A voice to represent the industry through lobbying efforts.
5. Use of the ISFTA logo and name in your marketing materials.
6. Discounts for facility staff for all ISFTA courses.
**If you are interested in having your facility sanctioned by ISFTA,
you must begin by e-mailing your letter of interest to us at info@isfta.com, or faxing it to us at 866-264-1762.
Included in the letter of interest should be the following:
1. Name, address, phone number, and contact person for the facility.
2. Website URL (if Applicable)
3. Description of the facility. (sq. feet, restrooms?, changing area?, freestanding building?, strip mall?, etc)
4. Brief explanation(one paragraph) of the fitness and training philosophy of
the facility.
5. Any info regarding any achievements, awards, publicity, etc. that the facility has received.
Upon receiving the letter of interest, ISFTA will send a package to the facility which will include the application, agreement of terms, and other information detailing additional benefits of becoming an ISFTA sanctioned facility.
