Medical Professional Information
ISFTA is pleased to recognize the hard work and time spent in school to become a licensed medical professional. For this reason, we are pleased to offer a modification on the process of obtaining a certification through ISFTA. Since a professional license in the medical field allows for the prescription of exercise, those holding a license as a physical therapist, PT assistant, occupational therapist, OT assistant, kinesiologist, physician, or athletic trainer will be EXEMPT from the practical portion of the exam. The written portion of the exam process must still be passed with a score of 90% or higher.
ISFTA is an approved provider of continuing education for many medical professionals. We will be listing all of our provider numbers for each state and license type shortly. Please check with you specific licensing board to see if our course is approved for your license. If additional information is required for submission to the board, please e-mail us at info@isfta.com
